How long is the tour?

The tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours.

How early should we arrive?

You should plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. If you miss the tour, you will only be able to rebook. You cannot catch up to a tour already in progress.

Is the tour appropriate for children?

Yes, the tour is suitable for children. Plus, children ages 5 and under can join the tour for free. Please note that a parent/guardian must accompany children under 18 years old.

Will tours operate in the rain?

What should I wear?

Wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable walking shoes.

What should I bring?

Bring a camera for pictures, cash to tip your guide, sunscreen for sun protection and water to stay hydrated. Tours are BYOB—alcoholic drinks are allowed in plastic containers only (no glass). Service may not be provided for intoxicated guests.

Does this tour enter any buildings?

No. This is an outdoor walking tour. These locations are primarily private residences.

Are pets allowed on the tour?

Yes. Leashed dogs and ADA-defined service animals are allowed on the tour.

Is the tour wheelchair accessible?

This is a walking tour on uneven streets in the French Quarter. It is not recommended for guests with mobility issues.
