The Alcatraz Island tour departs from Pier 33 at Fisherman's Wharf and includes transportation to and from the island from Pier 33. While on the island, learn about the prisoners and correctional officers who used to live and work on Alcatraz with the 45-minute cellblock audio tour (included) and the orientation video presented by the Discovery Channel.

Most visitors typically stay two to three hours, but stay as long as you like on the island. Ferries return from Alcatraz about every 30 minutes.
