Description

This wretched creature is doomed to travel the streets of Boston and relay the stories of the unfortunate souls he has encountered and the macabre events he has been witness to during his sentence. The Boston Ghosts and Gravestones Tour involves a whole cast of characters to lead you on an adventure through the darker side of Boston. A scary, fun, and informative fright-seeking experience that is truly one of a kind.

Hear about Boston's most sinister characters, from the Angel of Death to the most infamous killer of all, the Boston Strangler. See Boston’s most haunted building, hear its famous curses, and learn about all the haunts that call the "Hub" their home.

But that’s not all! Step inside two of the oldest burying grounds in Boston for a walking tour you will never forget. Stroll through Copp's Hill Burying Ground—the site of Boston’s largest grave-robbing scandal. Here you will visit the final resting place of Cotton Mather, a man famous for his "intimate" involvement in the Salem Witch Trials. Then follow your guide across Boston Common—the site of public hangings long ago—into the Old Granary Burying Ground and view the gravestones of the famous and not-so-famous (but far more interesting) occupants therein.

NOTE: From December through March, accessibility of the graveyards will be determined on a nightly basis due to winter weather conditions. An additional trolley/walking portion of the tour will be provided if graveyards are unavailable.
