Description

Escape to the Florida Everglades on this ultimate eco-adventure! Explore remote areas by boat, kayak, and on foot - all in one fun and exciting Everglades National Park tour. Depending on the season, you can encounter manatees, dolphins, sea turtles, bald eagles, ospreys, herons, egrets, pelicans, rosette spoonbills, and numerous species of fish and shorebirds.

Dolphin, Birding and Wildlife Boat Tour
Your experience begins with a naturalist led boat tour into Everglades National Park’s 10,000 Islands. Few visitors get to experience one of the most beautiful natural areas in Florida. It is a beautiful part of our planet and like no other.
Depending on the season and the day's conditions, you may encounter a variety of wildlife – dolphins, manatees, stingrays, sea turtles, bald eagles, ospreys, herons, egrets, roseate spoonbills and many different species of fish and shore birds.
On the way to one of our many destinations, your Florida Master Naturalist guide and US Coast Guard Captain will introduce you to the area's unique ecosystems, its long history and its rich culture.

Kayaking Eco Tour
With six kayaks nestled aboard, your guide will safely bring you to a remote part of the 10,000 Islands. The quiet kayaks work well in our shallow waters. Their stealth allows you to get close to the flora and fauna ... closer than you can in a boat or any other means. Kayaking experience is not a requirement and there's one and two-person kayaks are on every tour. Imagine paddling next to a manatee or a dolphin!

Remote Island Exploration and Walking Eco Tour
Conditions usually allow us to paddle to one of the many uninhabited barrier islands Everglades National Park. These remote island beaches area spectacularly beautiful and offer unique hands-on experiences. Your naturalist guide will lead you on an interpretive, leisurely walk to explore wrack lines, shallow intertidal zones, dunes, uniquely adapted plants, mangrove swamps and the many different invertebrate species that call these islands home. You will likely see more variety and more numbers of shells than you have ever seen. It is common to find artifacts that are 100's and even 1000's of years old. (Please know that shells and artifacts cannot be removed from Everglades National Park)

After the island walking tour, paddle back to the boat for the ride back to the dock. Don't forget your camera!

This excursion is smaller-group size limited to four guests, giving you a personalized experience.
