Where is Hopscotch San Antonio located?

Hopscotch is located downtown in the Travis Park Plaza Building at 711 Navarro. The main entrance is located on the park side at the corner of Navarro and Travis.

Where do I park?

Parking is available in the Travis Park Plaza Garage adjacent to Hopscotch for a discounted rate of $5 for 3 hours. Enter off of Travis Street between Navarro and St. Mary’s. Bring your parking ticket with you and show it to Hopscotch staff to receive the discounted rate.

Do I have to have a ticket to enter?

You do not have to purchase a ticket to visit the lounge, gift shop, patio, or food truck spaces. You will need a ticket to enter the gallery space.

What time do I need to arrive for my timed ticket?

Please arrive as close to your scheduled time slot as possible. If you arrive early, you can enjoy a beverage from the lobby lounge or purchase bites from the food truck. You can enter the gallery no earlier than 15 minutes before your scheduled ticket time. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, you may not be admitted and may have to reschedule.

How long does Hopscotch San Antonio take?

You may stay and explore as long as you like. Most guests spend an average of 60-90 minutes in the gallery portion of the experience.

Can I leave and come back in?

You can revisit the bar, lounge, or patio at any time. With your tickets, you may also re-enter the gallery at any point during your visit so long as you have not left and re-entered the building.

Are photos and videos allowed?

Non-flash photography and videos are welcome. However, you are encouraged to put your phone away at times to fully immerse yourself in the experience. Please be considerate of other guests when taking photos or videos. Tripods, excessive props, costume/outfit changes, commercial or product shoots, media shoots, press interviews, and all professional video equipment are not allowed without approval and accompaniment from a Hopscotch representative.

Is Hopscotch for all ages?

Hopscotch welcomes all audiences, though some installations are more adult-focused than others. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The venue asks that adults supervise minors accordingly because some exhibits are more about looking or listening than touching. Wall displays and staff are on hand to guide you to help you make the most out of your Hopscotch experience. Additionally, children 3 years and younger are admitted for free.

Is Hopscotch ADA accessible?

Hopscotch San Antonio meets ADA standards and the general space is navigable by crutches, walkers, wheelchairs, or mobility scooters. Some installations require the use of the entire body to participate.

Can I bring food and beverages into Hopscotch?

Hopscotch does not permit outside food or drinks. However, they feature a public lounge that includes a full bar, patio, food truck, and a gift shop. You can take drinks from the bar with you throughout the gallery or enjoy them in the lounge on the main floor. Water fountains are available throughout the facility, and you are welcome to bring your own refillable water bottle or purchase one from the gift shop.

Are pets allowed?

Well-behaved pets on a leash are welcome on the patio and in the lounge but are not allowed inside the gallery. Only service animals are permitted in the gallery. If your pet causes a disruption, you may be asked to leave.
