Enjoy two (2) flights in a state-of-the-art wind tunnel, lasting 60 seconds each—similar to the 45-second freefall portion of an actual skydive!
The total experience lasts approximately 1.5 hours from start to finish.
Ages 3 and up can enjoy the safe thrills of flying with the instructor's supervision.
Flyers must not exceed 300lbs. Individuals weighing between 260–300lbs are subject to additional evaluation by the local staff to determine if they can be accommodated.
Please wear casual clothes and well-fitting lace-up sneakers or running shoes—you'll wear a flight suit over your clothes.
Goggles are large enough to be worn over eyeglasses but secure your hair in a braid or a low bun to fit the helmet.
Flying is not recommended for guests who are pregnant, have non-removable hard cast/prosthetics, head, neck, back, or shoulder injury, or have a heart condition.
Flyers under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present to sign their flight waiver.

Experience the thrill of indoor skydiving at iFLY Austin! Located just 20 minutes north of Downtown, iFLY is one of the most fun things to do in Austin indoors. It's safe for kids, challenging for adults, exciting for teens and realistic for skydivers. No experience needed.

Simply put, iFLY is flying; you will soar on a column of air inside a vertical wind tunnel. The vertical wind tunnel moves air up in a vertical column, creating the indoor skydiving experience.

iFLY is the world leader and most experienced company when it comes to vertical wind tunnels. iFLY Austin uses superior technology and is unique; multiple fans located at the top of the flight chamber produce a wall-to-wall airflow that is smooth and fun to fly in. The air flow is totally controllable; this, combined with our professional instructors, makes for the most exciting flight experience possible.

Flyers do not need any previous experience to fly! At iFLY Austin, you will learn how to fly your body in a controlled manner with the assistance of your instructor. Professional flight instructors will provide you with all of your flight gear, along with the fundamental skills for body flight through a classroom training session. All you have to do is get ready to smile because this will be the most exciting thing you have ever accomplished!

Skydivers love freefall because it's the closest possible thing to true human flight. Now everyone can experience the same exhilaration, in a safe environment, in full view of family and friends!

Everything that you need for a flight experience is waiting for you at iFLY. No experience is needed, just a sense of adventure and a yearning for the supreme personal flight experience. The innovative sport of body flight is always new and always exciting.

The entire process lasts roughly 90 minutes. Each flight package includes not only your flight time, but also your pre-flight training and gear rental. iFLY Austin takes ages three (3) and up and all prices are the same for children and adults.

Please note that this experience is not recommend if you have ever had a history of neck, back, or heart problems or if you have ever had a prior shoulder dislocation. Pregnant women are not permitted to fly.

How long is each flight?

Each flight within the wind tunnel lasts 60 seconds. When jumping from an airplane, the free fall portion lasts approximately 45 seconds. Your admission has two (2) flights, so you will have two (2) turns in the wind tunnel with an instructor lasting 60 seconds each. The entire experience lasts 1.5 hours from start to finish.

Is it safe?

Yes, the iFLY vertical wind tunnel uses superior technology to produce smooth wall-to-wall airflow that is safe to fly in. Certified flight instructors will also ensure safe and enjoyable flight sessions—your instructor will be with you throughout your flight, regardless of your experience level.

Is there a weight restriction?

Individuals who weigh over 300lbs will not be permitted to fly. Flyers weighing between 260–300lbs require additional evaluation by an iFLY staff member upon check-in to determine if they can be accommodated and whether additional restrictions apply.
