The swamp is 27 miles from Downtown New Orleans/French Quarter and only 15 minutes from the New Orleans Airport. The Plantation is 20-30 minutes further past the swamp or about 1 hour from Downtown New Orleans/French Quarter.
Eating and drinking are allowed on the boat (in limited quantities) and at picnic tables throughout Cajun Pride Swamp Tour, but please note that eating and drinking are not permitted in the shuttle vans.
