SEA LIFE Michigan is typically open 10am–6pm Sundays through Fridays, and 10am to 7pm Saturdays. However, operating hours may vary. Please see the ticket section above for hours of operation during your selected date. Please note, last entry is 1 hour before closing. Hours may be subject to change due to special events and holidays. When booking your ticket, you will be asked to select a date and time for your arrival. This helps them make your experience more enjoyable by reducing queue times, speeding up your entry into the attraction and reducing crowding.
Most visits on average take about 1–2 hours. However, you can spend as long as you'd like.
SEA LIFE Michigan is located at Entrance 7 of Great Lakes Crossing Outlets in Auburn Hills. They are right next to the Rainforest Cafe, near the mall's food court. The address is 4316 Baldwin Road, Auburn Hills, MI 48326. If you are travelling by bus, Great Lakes Crossing Outlets is a bus stop on MTA's Oakland County Regional Service route from Flint.
Great Lakes Crossing Outlets offers free parking.
SEA LIFE Aquarium Michigan is suitable for all ages. Children under 2 are admitted free.
A visit to SEA LIFE Aquarium Michigan is not guided. The typical visit takes 1-2 hours, but you are welcome to stay for as long as you wish to watch as thousands of tropical fish swim overhead, visit the interactive touchpool, and learn about the amazing creatures that live in the depths of the ocean.
SEA LIFE Michigan does not allow outside food or beverages unless caring for babies or food allergies in children.

This aquarium is stroller and wheelchair accessible. They do not have wheelchairs or electric scooters available for rent, however you may rent wheelchairs on a first-come, first-serve basis from the Great Lakes Crossing Outlets' Guest Services booth in District 4. SEA LIFE Aquarium Michigan is happy to provide a free ADA Carer ticket for individuals who visit with someone who requires assistance to enjoy the facility. Just ask for an ADA Carer ticket when you arrive.
Once you have redeemed your SEA LIFE tickets and are inside SEA LIFE Michigan, you may stay as long as you like. However, you cannot come back in once you leave.
Any time is a great time to visit! If your schedule is flexible, guests are encouraged to visit on weekday afternoons and evenings to enjoy a quieter experience. You can expect more guests in the aquarium during the morning, weekends and holidays.
To help guests have the best experience possible and reduce crowding, SEA LIFE Michigan limits the number of tickets sold and reduce queuing by having guests preselect an entrance time. They recommend buying tickets online in advance to guarantee your preferred entry time. During peak times, you may experience a short wait in the "I Have Tickets" line as guests enter SEA LIFE.
They'll do their best to get you in as quickly as possible during operating hours.
Only service animals are welcome throughout the aquarium.
You can save money with the SEA LIFE and LEGOLAND combo ticket and visit both attractions for one low price. Please note that when purchasing a SEA LIFE + LEGOLAND Discovery Center combo ticket, the time you select is for your arrival at LEGOLAND Discovery Center. Then, you can visit SEA LIFE anytime that day or within the next 30 days. Each party must be accompanied by at least one child to visit LEGOLAND Discovery Center.
