Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum is a nonprofit, American military and maritime history museum featuring the legendary aircraft carrier Intrepid.
Personal cameras and video are allowed. Selfie sticks (or any other camera-extension devices) and professional equipment, including tripods, are not.
The majority of the Intrepid Museum is wheelchair accessible but there are no wheelchairs for public use. All restrooms and dining areas are fully accessible, as well as the flight deck, hangar deck and mess deck. Please note that there are areas of the Museum that are not wheelchair accessible, as they require guests to navigate stairs and ladders as well as long periods of walking and standing. These include Intrepid’s island, forecastle (forward deck), gallery deck, submarine Growler and Concorde.
The Intrepid Museum does not have a visitor parling lot, nor do they validate parking. However, there are several nearby parking garages where you can park for your visit, including: 1) Park Right at 670 W. 43rd Street (between 11th Avenue and West Side Highway) 2) PARK-IT 50-51 Operating Corp. at 622-630 W 51 St and 627 W 50 St. (between 11th Ave–West Side Hwy) 3) Garage Management Company at 550 West 45th Street (between 10th and 11th Avenues)
The Museum does not offer bag and coat check facilities. All belongings, including bags, strollers and luggage. must remain with visitors at all times. Please note that strollers, large bags and luggage are not permitted in the submarine or Concorde.
Pets are not permitted. Only service animals 12 months or older are allowed, provided that the service animals remain properly leashed.
