Lathrop Canyon is a deep and narrow canyon that cuts through the White Rim layer and reaches the Colorado River. It offers a scenic hike along a creek bed and a view of the river.
Gooseneck overlook is a viewpoint that offers a panoramic view of the Colorado River as it makes a sharp bend around a sandstone peninsula. It is one of the most photographed spots in Canyonlands.
Canyonlands National Park is a vast and rugged park that preserves a colorful landscape of canyons, mesas, arches, rivers and rock formations. It covers 337,598 acres (136,621 hectares) of land in southeastern Utah.
